Donalds Safari Breakfast

Anyone try Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House? Just made ADR for there and interested in others opinions. What all Characters were there, how was the food, etc. Thanks!!

We loved it there!! There were plenty of choices(hot and cold and wonderful breads and pastries)and we all loved the Jungle juice! I know for sure that Goofy and Donald and Daisy were there...I am thinking Minnie and MIckey too but I can't remember as we did so much (maybe a smidge too much) character dining. Goofy does a follow the leader type dance and gets all the kids involved. My girls are a mature 11 and they still loved it!

We did our first character BF at Tusker this month and LOVED it! The atmosphere is great (African marketplace type vibe), food is great (plenty of hot and cold items, I especially recommend the biscuits and gravy), and the character interaction was great. Mickey, Goofy, Daisy, and Donald all make appearances in their AK safari gear. Goofy led a parade around our dining room and did a great job of getting the kids involved. The jungle juice is great, and did I mention this whole place is great? There is a photo opportunity before you go in that the CMs will bring to you to purchase while you're eating, but no characters are present in the picture. Have fun!

We just ate there last week. It was GREAT! We saw Donald, Mickey, Goofy and Daisy. Great food and a lot of fun!

i havn't eaten there but will be in 5days!!! all because of the great reviews i have heard off here.

it has a african bustling market type vibe as a PP has said
the characters variety but usually always Donald, Daisy and Mickey, then i think it varies between Goofy, Pluto and Minnie
amazing unlimited juice! Jambo or Jungle juice people are unsure of the correct name

i cant wait to try it!!!

i think it also similiar foods to boma breakfast

We have this booked for Oct. I love Tusker House! It's kind of set up with different rooms from what I remember with the buffet in the middle.

What I like about this buffet is it's set up in smaller stations so you don't get that long buffet line like you do with some of the other buffest.

I remember Donalds Breakfastaurus, that line was a nightmare by the time I go to the end of it some of my food was cold.

We loved it! Food was very good! Atmosphere reminded me of Chef Mickeys. They do a parade there with instruments. Characters (in cute safari outfits) were Mickey, Daisy, Donald and Goofy. Enjoy!

We loved it too. Great atmosphere, lots of different and delicious food. The jungle juice is yummy and we got to see Daisy!! We have it on our list again for our Jan. trip.

Thanks everyone for writing in. I just booked a breakfast there for November and it one of the few character meals that we have not done yet. Now, I'm really looking forward to it.

what everyone has said is true, but just be prepared that the characters move pretty fast from table to table IMHO....But it is definitly something to try at least once!

That is so true. We did Breakfastaurus once and the line was about a mile long. It was horrible to get thru the line and there was absolutelty no place to sit a plate if you needed an extra hand to help DD with her plate. I'm glad to hear the new buffet is set up different and I am looking forward to it even more now.
