Donald's Opening Time

I've looked up on allearsnet.com and they have the time listed as 8am for opening. DH says he's read reports on here of people having PS times at 7:30. Now, I've read reports about people planning to arrive at 7:30 for their 8am time, but I dont' know about earlier than that. Has anyone out there gotten a PS for earlier than 8:00am?? We were hoping to get an earlier one on our June trip.

We usually eat there on our trips, and the earliest we've ever been able to get PS is for 8am. I usually call at 90 days out, so I'm thinking that might be the earliest.

We've eaten there about half an hour before the rest of the park opened. A CM takes you from the gate to the restaurant...and you get to see a lot of the park without any people. It's kind of cool.

are you able to take pictures of the tree or are you rushed to the restaurant? this past Oct we felt they were rushing us along

We've done this two times and the first time we were able to take photographs of the Tree of Life. They walk fast but it doesn't take too long to take a photo. It's nice to do so without all the other people around the Tree.

The second time we did it, there was a monsoon going on (or so it seemed) so we weren't too interested in taking photos. We practically ran to the restaurant.

4 out of our 5 visits to Donald's have been at the earliest seating time, and it has always been at 8. I don't think they change the opening time very often, so this should still be right. One thing though is that we always go to Donald's on non-EMH days (so that we are finishing up right around the time the park opens!) so they may have a different opening time on EMH days, although I doubt it because most reastaurants don't.
