Donalds dining plan

Is a dining plan at Dl worth it? We plan to spend 3 days at the parks, doing 1 character breakfast.

Has anyone done it? Did it save money, or did you just end up eating more than you would have otherwise?

We did the dining plan - I don't think it necessarily saved us money, BUT it did make it more convenient. We didn't spend much out of pocket. We probably did eat more than we normally would, particularly snacks because of the snack vouchers. We did purchase a meal for our friends (couple plus their son) because we didn't think we would use all the vouchers.
I really enjoy eating at Disneyland versus off-site. We never ate off-site on the days we were at Disneyland or DCA.
