Has anyone had the breakfast buffet at Donald's Breakfastosaurus? We have 8:10am ressies. Would you recommend it? Any comments would be appreciated.

i have. not one of my favorites (actually, my least favorite). but from what i've gathered from others' experiences, it seems to be best if it's either your first character meal or if you have a late seating, which you don't.

<--- I highly recommend it. We really had a blast. 8:10 ressies, showed up early and was seated at opening. The food was great(KK donuts on the cold bar) and of course, my best buddy was so much fun.

I love Donald's Breakfatosaurus!!!! This is a must do on my WDW trips. The food is good and there was a lot of character interaction evey time I've been there. I enjoy early ADR's the best. We have an 8:20 for our next vacation and are really looking forward to it.

Donald's Breakfastosaurus is one of my favorites. We really had a blast, Food was good and Goofy was our favorite. Everyone was very nice, and of course our next vacation and are really looking forward to it.

my least favorite character meal. only done it once and we probably won't go back. half the restaurant is in the dark and the food wasn't that good. just my opinion...

We have eaten there a couple of times and loved it each time. We have had plenty of time to interact with the characters and enjoyed the food choices.

We had an 8:00 ADR just over a week ago. The characters are great, but the food is not. We had promised my DS we would take him there as he got sick and we couldn't go on a previous trip, but we won't do it again. SO much less food choice than Crystal Palace, and it was all junk food. Donuts, pastries, meats, waffles, pancakes etc......The fresh fruit selection was miniscule and just all-around sub-par compared to CP. We will only do CP breakfast from here on out.

mmmmm I may have to go now.. Sounds like the breakfasts I like :)

We went this past May and throughly enjoyed ourselves! Service, atomsphere, character interaction (Mickey, Donald, Goofy & Pluto) and food! We were a party of 7 (4 parents, 3 boys under 10yo) and had an 8:20am ADR. FYI supposed become Donald's Breakfast Safari relocating to Tusker House this fall.

Has anyone made reservations for the NEW Donald breakfast? We're going over Christmas and I would love to make reservations.

Thanks!

They aren't taking ADRs for Donald's Breakfast Safari yet...there is another thread to tracking when they start taking them....hoping to make one for December...:santa:

Tell me more about the "new Donald breakfast." I haven't heard anything about that yet. We will be trying Donald's Breakfastosaurus for the first time in early Sept. I've heard mixed reviews from it but I thought we would give it a try anyway since we do love our characer meals.
pat fan- why only CP? Have you tried Ohana's and 1900 Park Fare yet? Both are wonderful. We actually prefer those two to CP but to each it's own, right??? :) ;)

i've done...

CRT dinner
Princess Storybook lunch
Crystal Palace breakfast
Breakfastosaurus
Best Friends breakfast
Chef Mickey's dinner
Liberty Tree Tavern dinner
1900 Park Fare breakfast

maybe others? i dunno.. breakfastosaurus is my least favorite as i mentioned. CP is a close 2nd least favorite. character interaction there is so erratic. awesome if you're there at 8:05 and out at 8:30 but lord help you if one of those guys gets held up somewhere.

Have not tried those, maybe next trip. I was just comparing between the two, and Donald's was blech!

We go for the last bkfast seating and have always found the characters to be awesome! We like to hit the park and then have a "brunch" at CP before heading back for a swim/nap. I can't imagine eating all that food and then going out in the heat to ride rides.

I know...yummy! Unfortunately, health issues keep us a bit more restricted on what we can eat, and I felt like there was not much we could have :sad1:

We have done Donalds Breakfast our last three trips. We have always made an 8:00am ADR. Last two trips we were done by 8:50, waited near the Finding Nemo stage show, got escorted to EE and were instructed to enter the fastpass lane, all the other guests coming from the main entrance went into the regular line. We were the first ones on, happened in November and again in February. We have always had a good experience with Donalds Breakfast , love the food and the character interaction. :)

It was great eating breakfast there.
