For our day at AK I figured we would do the character breakfast at Donald's Breakfastosaurus. Just wondering for those who ate there what you thought about it? How were the characters? Thanks for any info!

My kids really enjoy this meal, I have a hard time with the price tag for breakfast, especially since my DD7 ate one Krispy Kreme and a cup of chocolate milk. The food was good and plentiful, the character interaction was not at all rushed and very fun. I have to remind myself that the price is more for the entertainment than the scrambled eggs.

Having done most of the character meals, both my husband and I choose this one as our favorite. We have started our day off at AK with it for the past five times and will do it again next time.

We loved it!
We had a 10am reservation on a Weds morning. The food is hot and plentiful. We showed up at 9:58, had our picture taken, and were shown right to our table.
We had so much character time that DS got embarrassed that Mickey hugged him so long. He indicated that he was hugging him once for every Mickey pin DS had on his lanyard- 13 total!
The other characters were really great as well. Goofy sat down and was pretending to feed the toddler at the table next to us.
The servers took the time to take pictures of the whole family for us with each character.

We have been to Donald's for the past five years and both the adults and children have loved it. I have two girls 4 and 5 and my sister has two boths 6 and 7 and they all had a great time. The selection of food was awesome, the waitstaff were also great and the characters: Donald, Mickey, pluto, goofy all came and spent ample time with us. The price is great and definately worth it. My family enjoys breakfast the most and out of all of them, this was the best!!!

It's our favorite character breakfast. Dh and I do it on every trip. The food is great...a nice mix of the breakfast foods I like and Dh likes. He likes the eggs, sausage, bacon, cholesterol building foods. I like the bready kinds (not much healthier than his options, but still) like muffins, coffee cake, donuts, etc. They have lots of both options and we think it's really yummy. I also personally like the setup of how the characters come around. You will read lots of complaints on here saying they move too fast, but we haven't found that to be the case when we've been there.

DD7 and I really enjoyed it. Character interaction was good and not rushed. When there was a lag before the characters reached us, the waiters and waitresses went out of their way to entertain the kids. I thought the food was as good as any other WDW buffet that we've tried. DD is still talking about their *biscuits* a year later, of all things. LOL

We tried this one time and loved it...great variety...the characters and the servers do a wonderful job. Would highly recommend it.

We did the breakfast last Sunday, and really enjoyed it. I had lots of fun. We also did Cape May this morning, and my DD8 informed me that she liked AK, but liked Cape May better. The food at both were good, the characters were great and all the staff were wonderful at both.

Going in May looking forward to eating there.

I loved Donald's breakfast! Good food and great characters. Sometimes it's hard to find Donald in the parks, but Donald, Mickey and Goofy all
TOGETHER!? Awesome!

We had a little later dining time (I think 10am) and it was even better because it was less crowded and the characters really put on a show! I'd do Donald's again in a heartbeat! :thumbsup2

Our family really enjoyed this brkfst. DH definitely wants to do this one again. We had a 0830 ADR. Food fresh and plentiful. Waiter great, and character interaction just right.

My husband and I were there a couple of weeks ago. It was our first time and we loved it and can't wait to bring our family back in May. The french toast had swirls of cinnamon in it. There was a good breakfast pizza that my husband really liked. I think I remember seeing chocolate chip pancakes. We got so full on the eggs, french toast, etc. that we didn't even touch the sweet rolls, etc. Considering we went to Quizno's for lunch the prior day, got 2 6-inch subs, 2 little bags of chips, and 2 sodas, and then this huge all you care to eat breakfast for just exactly twice as much makes me think the price is relative and not too bad.

I took both DS and DM there last April and we loved it. This was the first ADR I made for our upcoming trip. The characters were great, not rushed at all, they even came around a second time and the buffet was full and the food was hot. Can't wait to take DH and DF there this time.

This is my favorite character breakfast!!!! Characters are all wearing "safari" type outfits...the waiters goof on you and do fun things...and the food is different. They have the standard breakfast fare but also interesting things like breafast burritos. The other fantastic thing about eating here is you can get into Animal Kingdom EARLY EARLY...start here and get a jump start. HAVE FUN! :wave2:

We liked the food. We liked the donuts, pastries and fruit especially. It was pretty crowded and we didn't see much of the characters. They seemed pretty rushed, and my son had to go find one of them. For that reason, we haven't been back........we can pick up pastries and fruit along the way and not lose touring time!

Seeing Donald was mandatory for my DS, so this was a surefire way to get great pictures, autographs, etc. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the characters were great! Some of the best character pics we took were here!

Another fan of Breakfastsaurus here! This is my son's favorite. We like to go first thing in the morning. The food is hot, fresh and plentiful. The characters are great. It can seem kind of rushed, but, IMHO, when you have kids and want to take pictures of them with the characters, any character meal will feel rushed to a certain extent. The waitstaff here has always been great, too. Very outgoing and friendly.

we loved it too. We had lots of character interaction. Really good, hot, plentiful food. We will go back next time. Besides DH is a huge Donald fan.
