My son is a huge dinosaur and animal fan. He is 4 and constantly amazing us with his knowledge. I was thinking this breakfast might interest him?? Anyone who has gone recently that could give some details it would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance.

I did this breakfast March 2002, and I thought it was great. I don't have kids (I'm 25 and my fiance is 24) but your son should love it. It is a buffet (all you can eat) and I think it is the only character meal that features Donald. The CM's made sure that each table got time with each character (Donald, Goofy, Mickey, and Pluto) to take pictures and get autographs. I also found the CM's to very nice, with some playing cute practical jokes on the parents! HTH :D

There's not a lot of dinosaur trivia, but there's a cute introduction about the dinosaur evolving into Donald Duck. Also, the characters are wearing safari type costumes with dinosaur print.

It's a fun breakfast!

We took our 4 y/o DS there last summer for the breakfast, and he loved it. There's not a lot about dinosaurs, but he really enjoyed the whole thing. It's right near the Boneyard, one of his favorite WDW attractions.

I took my 2 oldest grandchildren there last Sept. It was a let down for me, maybe I expected too much. It had a very rushed feel, move one group in, get them out, move the next one in, and so on.
The food was good and some of the characters really did a good job of going to all the tables.
Donald Duck seemed to run through, didn't stop. We
were somewhat overtaken by the heat, long walk, and the crowds. I don't intend to go there again.
This year we will try a character breakfast at one
of the hotels or in another park. AK was just too
hot and crowded. Just our exp. though, you might
like it better than we did.

As others have said not a lot of dinosaur inside the restaurant. We have been to breakfast there twice, once we had a res. very early, before the park opened and we actually got a jump on others entering the park. The other res was just before closing and the characters hung around with very few people there, the pix below. Food is typical buffet for WDW, Good but not great.
