Donalds Breakfast or Crystal Palace

DH has made little demands on what to do when or where. He is a pretty much whatever you want guy when it comes to our Disney trip. I would like to do a character breakfast on our last day and I am considering the AK Donalds Breafastosaurs for DH b/c his favorite character is Donald duck. I would like to please him with meeting Donald. On the other hand, I haven't heard many great reviews of this breakfast. Because of that, I am considering Crystal Palace instead. What is the likelihood of meeting Donald in the parks? Have any of you had the Donalds breakfast and would you recommend it?

donald makes regularly scheduled appearances in mexico as part of the 3 caballeros, he also often appears at the hat in mgm with daisy.

why not chef mickey's?

Should have mentioned we currently have ADR's at 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey for character meals. I am just torn on the last morning.

We're doing them both in July. I like Crystal Palace better than Donald's, but you won't meet Donald at Crystal Palace. Donald will be at Chef Mickey's. The food isn't horrible at Donald's, but it's like a McDonalds buffet. I felt much more rushed at Donald's than at Crystal Palace.

We love going to Donalds for breakfast. Very good and lots of choices.....The servers are fun too.

We always go to both of these for breakfast. The servers at Donald's have been great - lots of interaction, jokes etc (esp last year). Also, if he loves Donald, Breakfastasaurus is great. Funny but all the guys in our group seem to really enjoy it there. As others have said, if you decide on CP, you'll still have opportunities to meet Donald in the parks. Have a great trip!

We love them both. The only thing at Donalds was the long line for the hot food. There is this one huge long table that splits in the middle and has the same food on both sides, one side for one dining room and another side for the other dining room. It is a tight squeeze and people standing in line back up into the dining room by other people sitting and eating.

The food was very good, there is a hot table and a cold table, 3 kinds of Krispie Kreme Donuts! The characters are adorable.

We also love CP.

I always get the first reservation so we can get into the parks super early and hit the rides before the crowds come in.

Last year we went to Donald's on our last day and I was so glad we did . We had a wonderful time. The characters were great and the food was too . It was really nice to walk into AK without all the crowds (we even had our picture took in front of the Tree of Life with only us in the picture. ) To me it was a wonderful was to start our last day at WDW.
