If by chance, you are interested in reading the Supreme Court's decisions on the so-called same sex marriage cases, here are links to them.

DOMA: http://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/12pdf/12-307_g2bh.pdf

Prop 8: http://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/12pdf/12-144_8ok0.pdf

http://www.scotusblog.com has an excellant running discussion of the practical impact of these decisions. The bloggers try to explain the decisions in plain English, something I have been accused of not being able to do (but I digress).

Just a reminder, while the fact of the Supreme Court's decision is related to topics discussed on the podcast and i felt comfortable enough providing links for those that are interested in knowing more, it would be against DIS guidelines to get into a political discussion about the decision.

Keep it pretty, folks.

Appreciate you posting these links Jack. It will make for some interesting reading. :coffee:

Too much reading ... I'll wait for the HBO documentary or the Lifetime movie. :rotfl2:

Thanks for the links. LGBT civil rights litigation is what I do for a living, so we had a pretty great day yesterday. And sharing it with some DIS friends last night made it even more special.
