Dolphins or Atlantis

I had read that you could book a dayroom at Atlantis. I called Atlantis directly and was told that they don't do that anymore. :confused3 I'd love to hear from anyone who has been recently that might have done this. It would be cheaper than what we're paying for a room at Comfort Suites, but is it risky since you don't know for sure until you get there if you can get a room or not?

That is one of the risks you take by getting a day room..

I don't know how it's changed since we were there...but I can tell you what it was like then. When we were there in 2004...we were also told by a few people that they didn't do day rooms. We ended up asking quite a few diffrent people about it before someone finally said they could help us. One thing about Atlantis is...it is made up of diffrent towers...and each tower has it's own "front" desk/lobby area. Then there is the main lobby and front desk also. Anyways we had to go from lobby/tower to lobby/tower asking before we got some answers.

We were also told or informed...that they only have a limited number of day rooms available each day...and they book them on a first come basis. So when they said they don't do them or have them...I found out that not all towers do do the day rooms...while another one was fully booked.

Oh...I've also heard many times on these boards that many people have been told when they called Atlantis ahead of time...that they don't do Day rooms...
