Just wondering whether anyone has seen schools of dolphins while the ship is at sea. My girls would love that.

We were pleasantly surprised on Mar 10/02 to see a dolphin right at port canaveral before debarkation, swimming around at one side of the ship.

We saw two of them swimming in tandem in the water as were leaving Port Canaveral in January. They were hard to see because we didn't leave until about 5:35pm and it was close to sunset so there wasn't much light. They're a light gray color and the water was just a couple of shades darker.

We tried to get some digital photos of the dolphins but they were indistinguishable because of the low light levels and that the sun was setting.

Since sunset occurs much later now, it should be easier to spot them at Port Canaveral.

No dolphins for us, but the flying fish were a trip....saw them almost every day at sea...we were on the Magic 3/2 7 day and I kept seeing these silver flashes across the back of the boat..I was in cabin 8102...so at the beginning I was only seeing the tail end of the school...but was standing on the promenade deck one afternoon and it was incredible....hundreds of them...just flying across the water, in wave after wave...make sure to let your kids see it.. my son and daughter just stood there forever staring at it...

When we were on the wonder in November of 2000 we saw tons of dolphins and flying fish around the ship as we were leaving Port Canaveral. Have fun on your cruise!
