Dolphin - West wing rooms?

I know from reading these boards that it is best to request a west wing room when traveling with kids since Tubbi's and laundry are nearby, but what does the west wing face? MGM? Epcot? Just wondering that if I specifically request a west wing room will I be shutting myself out of a possible upgraded room with a view? Any opinions?

I stayed at the Dolphin in December and got a west wing room that faces the MGM. I didn't request a west wing room... I requested a non-smoking renovated room and got a free upgrade at check-in to a Lake View room.
