I currently have two (2!) room ressies (All-Stars and Poly). Booked the Poly in anticipation of some pretty great rates coming out this wknd. If it's just packages, I'm not doing the new rate. SOOOO...I'm back to thinking of the Dolphin again. We can get that $139 rate.

Pros for us @ Dolphin - 2 rooms for the price of 1 at Poly (even w/AAA). With kids, need I say more!

Cons for us @ Dolphin - not on the monorail.

Pros for the Poly-it's so convenient. Will be nice to be there for 7/4 fireworks.
Cons-We might end up at RPR @ Universal (depending on what hotwire has avail. when I'm ready to bid). So it would be like two different Poly hotels. Hoping for PBH though.

I am really torn. Really! Help me someone!

We stayed in the Poly several years ago and just recently came back from our first stay at the Dolphin. I really prefered the Dolphin, its a great location on the Boardwalk. We easily walked to both EPCOT & MGM. Bus service to AK & MK was quick and easy, in fact a couple of times we just walked through EPCOT and caught the monorail.
The pool area and beach area at Dolphin are lovely and very relaxing.
Even you could get the Poly and Dolphin for the same price I'd lean towards the Dolphin, but if its cheaper I'd have no hesitation going with the Dolphin.

I guess it does make more sense to stay at the Dolphin.

Question-How do you get into Epcot at park opening? I've heard that you don't get in thru the front entrance? How does that work w/trying to get to FW right away???

When walking or boating over to Epcot from any of the Epcot resorts (Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk, etc.) you enter through World Showcase.

You can than walk your way around to the front of the park.
