Dolphin vs. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress?

Last year my husband and I stayed at the Hyatt and we absolutely loved it! The pool area was great. We are looking for a comparable area without spending the same about of money. The Hyatts best rate with AAA is 309 a night. We have the entertainment card and could get a lower rate. How does the dolphin compare to the Hyatt? We have seen the AKL and WL and were not impressed with the pool area Or is there another hotel that you would recommend?

YC/BC have the best pool at WDW. I think there rates are about the same as Hyatt.

Otherwise go back to the Hyatt - it use to be the only 5 star hotel in Orlando - before it got down graded it was so mad at AAA that for years they refused to enter in AAA book - I am glad that problem is over and Hyatt is now in the book.

you might try the Ritz-Carlton or the Gaylord - both are new hotels - so I don't have any information about their swimming pool.

You might also try the Universal hotel - Hard Rock has a pretty neat swimming pool and you get first in line entry at US/IOA there.
they generally have half off with the entertainment rate. these are Loews Hotel which you might be familiar with this brand.

It was a struggle to even find a room for that time at the Dolphin. I guess there is a conference there. I started out with 633.00 with hotels.com, then 570 with AAA, and then 540.00 with expedia for two nights.

Dreams Unlimited had 488. I booked with them. Is that a deal? I have the ent card, AAA, and a disney visa. I called the hotel directly and Sheraton and this was the best I could get. There are hardly any rooms available for the middle of October.
