Dolphin - Views

I have ressies for a standard view room at the Dolphin for memorial week. Wondering if it is worth the $40 a day to upgrade to a better view? What are the standard views like?

I had a standard view a few years ago, on the 5th floor.

I faced the loading dock and was awakened each morning starting very early with trucks arriving for deliveries.

If you can afford it, I would spring for a better view.

Pay for the upgrade. Or if you are a Starwood member, beg for an upgrade.

One standard view I was looking at the rooftop with the ac units

Another one I was looking at the Swan

Another view I was looking at the parking lot

It depends on where they put you. If you plan on staying in the room alot then book a better view.

I had the infamous dumpster view!

Standard can be anything from that, to misc. grounds & buildings. If the $40 a day isn't an issue for you then go for it & upgrade. If you're trying to stay on a budget, skip it. Really - you're out of the room most of the time anyway!
