We will be at WDW in March. We have a PS for Boma one night at 6:30. How do I get there from the Dolphin and how long will it take? We have heard great things about Boma, any suggestions????

If you don't have a car, I would just take a cab. It won't cost that much money and will only take like 5 or 10 minutes. The alternative is taking a bus to DTD and then taking the AKL bus there, which could take as long as an hour. Boma is great, and being able to walk around and experience AKL will make it worth the trip out there.

Take the boat to MGM and then catch an AKL bus. I've heard the taxis from end of WDW to the other can run close to $30 one way. I wouldn't waste $60 total on a taxi.

The boat ride/bus from MGM sounds great. I'm a newbie and I have no idea how long it takes to get from one place to another. Are we talking 20 minutes from the time we leave the Dolphin or 1 hour?? I want to have time to walk around and check out AKL.

Thanks!!

It really depends on if you hit the boat and bus stops at the right times. I would allow 1 1/2 hours, but it could take as little as 30-40 min. Getting back might not be as easy, but that depends on how long you take to eat. Since spring break is going on pretty strong mid-late march you should be OK unless you're going right at the beginning. It that happens the most likely way it to go to DD then catch a bus to the Dolphin. However we were very luckily last trip. We ate at AKL after a day at AK so getting there was easy, just took the AKL bus. We thought getting back to MK would be hard since we wasted so much time that all the parks were closing when we were leaving AKL. A bus from MK stopped and let a load of people off and was headed back to MK. We jumped on and he said that the MK was closed. We told him we were going to MK so we could get on the resort monorail to CR. Well he radioed and asked for permission to drop us off right at the NGW (north garden wing of Contemporary resort).
