Just grab the bus right at the bus stop. They service Swan and Dolphin directly.

Never mind, I realize you said AKL. Not Park. Lodge. You can go to any Park and then switch to the Resort bus.

Yes, but it is recommended to leave 90 minutes before meal time, whereas Uber would take 25 minutes tops (including wait.)

Yes, a bus would be way more trouble but when you add in the layer of dealing with a car seat sometimes it's still easier.
I know "I" would use a Lyft/Uber but we don't need a car seat either. If we did, I'm not sure what I'd do
