Dolphin tips...again....

Tried asking for some tips a week ago and only got the Starwood card suggestion, which I have signed up for. Does anyone have any suggestions for room requests? Anything?

Well..... we stayed at the Swan and I loved it. We booked a standard room and got a little bit of a view of Hollywood Studios. It's a great resort. I loved the two queen beds but I believe the Dolphin has 2 double beds (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this). We stayed in late August, by the way. May I suggest moving over to the Swan for the bed upgrades? In any case you could ask for a room with a view or ask for any possible room upgrades at check in time. You never know what they can offer you. Do your research to see what each room upgrade would cost and have set amounts on what you would pay for any offered upgrades. Of course, you might get lucky and get a complimentary upgrade. Now, the Dolphin is a tall hotel. Maybe you could ask for a room on an upper level floor for as nice a view as you can get at your room category. Or, you could request a room close to the lobby so it would be convent to go from your room to the stores and eateries. I think room requests are dependent upon what each person likes. Some like to be close to the lobby, and others like to be far away and up high. In any case you'll enjoy your stay at these twin hotels. This location has it's own special Disney experience. That's very helpful, thank you. I cannot change to the swan as my travel agent will kill me for changing again!
But I do appreciate the suggestions for our room. I will think about what we would enjoy......this is our first time staying in this area, and I'm really looking forward to it!
