Dolphin/Swan renovations in Dec.

We will be staying at the Dolphin in Dec. We have booked a Jr. Suite (YEAH). My question is does anyone know if the renovations should be done by then? I am concerned as we will not be checking into the hotel until around 11:30 pm if all goes according to plan. I am worried that we may get a room close to noisy renovations and DS (special needs child) won't tolerate that very well. I am planning on calling down before the trip and explaining but I am assuming the hotel will be busy (Dec 23) and with our late arrival we might just get one of the last rooms available. Thanks for any info you may have.

The renovations are suppose to be complete at the end of the first quarter of 2004. I have the same concerns about the dolphin as we will be there in Dec too. We also have a Jr. suite reserved and hope for a renovated suite! I am going to call a few days before our arrival and request a renovated suite. Good luck and happy planning!

a few weeks ago on this as we are going in mid-November. They could not give an exact timetable other than they are working as fast as they can. They said they started working from the bottom up but that would not stay for the entire project.

I called dolphin yesterday and they said they were up to the 4th floor.

In am jsut so excited to be going that it really does not matter if we ar in the Swan or the Dolphin. I am thrilled with either but thought it would be fun to have a "Heavenly Bed"
