Dolphin suite for $870/$880????

That was my 4th phone call asking a different person about the ability to request a CL Exec Suite....They have all said they no longer are aloud to do that...

I was going to do this anyways so I just signed up for AAA and am going to put a travel request in through them and see what they can come up with.

I guess it couldn't hurt.

Jason...No, it never hurts! You are doing all the right things for your current situation. PROPER Planning, prevents problems down the road.

Zurgswife...call the 800# during the week (Day). Ask if you are connected with the RESORT, or CENTRAL RESERVATIONS for STARWOOD. If it is CR, ask them to please transfer you to the resort. Once connected, ask for a reservations supervisor. Inform this person of the problems you have encountered with your request. If this person (Please, remember to obtain the name of the supervisor), informs you she/he can NOT reserve an exec. suite on CL, ASK WHY? Be sure to get specific reasons for this refusal. I have a friend, whom just reserved this suite, on CL. This is Why I am confused as to "whom" is offering this information. Thank you.

OK DF99....they swear that there aren't any 2 bdrm Exec Suites located on the CL at the Dolphin...There are Jr Exec Suites, and 1 bdroom but not 2 bdrm....

There are no "TWO BEDROOM" suites on CL. This is apparently true. There are the one BR exec. suites, but not two (which is really "three separate rooms" with the parlor). The two-BR exec. suite I have stayed in is located on the wings. There is one on each wing floor.

Sorry for all the confusion (LOL). I was trying to clear-up the misconception about "suites on CL", and being able to reserve a suite in advance, etc. There are suites on CL, and you are able to reserve these in advance. Also, there are the 1 BR exec.suites, which could be used in conjunction with a single CL room (which could be adjacent or across from, etc.), thus making the accomodations available on the CL floor (in theory).

Yeah we have ressies in a 2bdrm exec suite and a 2 bdrm Grand Suite.....Can't decide if I want the extra room or not....

I think we will stay with the Exec Suite in the Dolphin because we have never stayed in the Dolphin before....
