Dolphin Set-Up for Crib?

We might be staying at the Dolphin over Spring Break (deciding between there and FW Cabins). My main concern is the room layout.

We have a baby who will be 1 when we travel. As long as he can see us, he won't fall asleep. And as soon as he lays eyes on us in the morning, he wants to be picked up, even if that's 4:00 a.m.

At the Dolphin, is there a place in the room to put the port-a-crib where we won't be in the line of vision? When we stayed at WL over Christmas, there was room to put the crib in the bathroom area, so that worked fine. Is there a similar spot in the Dolphin rooms?

Thanks!

I can't think of anywhere in the rooms at the Dolphin where you could put a crib out of site. The Dolphin uses cribs, as opposed to pack & plays,,,and they take a little more space, I think.

Maybe someone else has better news :::crossing fingers::::

Thanks, Madge, even if I don't like what you're telling me :)

We could bring a pack-and-play with us and forego the crib, if there were a good place to put it. But sounds like there's not :(

I'm trying to think...there's space back in the corner, near the windows. we found that the A/C blew right down on that area, and didn't want to put the bed there. I don't know if you would really be out of view there, KWIM?

I went back and checked pictures. www.swandolphin.com has some pictures that will give you a good idea of the room layout. I can't see any place, other than next to the TV or near the window that a crib/pack & play will fit. There is a space between the main part of the room and the doorway, where the closet and bathroom is. A crib would fit there, but it would completely block the entrance to the hallway and to the bathroom.

I didn't think to ask--are you getting a King room? you'vce got a little more room to play with there, but I still can't see where you are going to be out of view from the baby.

good luck!

I don't know the size of the crib, but it seems to me that if you put it right up against the entrance-way door you'd be out of sight.
