Sorry to repeat this question but after checking in my account at Starwood seem to have gone from standard room to deluxe with balcony and resort view including crescent lake. This is our first trip and have no idea of the rooms, will we be pleased, sounds pretty good

You should be very pleased! Depending on which way you are facing, you could have any number of nice views.
