In the interest of traveling light, I got to thinking, I wonder what's in the room that I may not have to bring.

So share with me Dolphin fans! Are there any neat little things in the bath area? Is there coffee fixins'? Right now we have ressie for standard.

Just what is Club Level? The same as Concierge at the other resorts? Would it be worth it for two female boomer's for just two days?

Any Dolphin best kept secrets? I have tried to read the Swan/Dolphin thread, but I guess there is just too many graphics, because it does not work for me.

last November and LOVED it!!!!!!!!! Incredible customer service, great renovated rooms and we got an incredible view (and balcony!) of Epcot for Illuminations every night.

The rooms come with the usual shampoo, lotion, shoe mit, etc. and an incredible smelling oatmeal soap! There is a small coffee pot with coffee, tea, sugar, etc.

If you have to pay extra for it, I would not recommend the Club Level. We had it but just by using Starwood points we had earned. (If you are not a member yet, join soon and make sure you call and have them mark this on your reservation. This may help you get a room upgrade!) I(t was nice for a fast breakfast but we never got to use it for anything else.

Be sure to ask for a room with a balcony and with a view of Epcot (can't hurt to at least ask!).

A take-out pizza from Tubbi's is a great value and is really very good for a snack, late dinner, etc. If you need anything from the hotel...ask! All of the staff was great, helpful and super friendly.

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kapp,

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I did join Starwood before I made my ressie. I'm hoping for one of those complimentry upgrades.

That's what I was thinking about the club level. It looks as though it's mostly about food and we well eating our way around the World!!::yes::

As far as the balcony rooms with views go, I am wondering if this is a trade off with regard to distance from other parts of the hotel. A little concerned about my friend complaining about, "how far our room is away from everything".

I'm a soaper, so can't wait to try this "hevenly" oatmeal soap!:D

Only 34 more days!!!:bounce:

we enjoy CL, but I don't think I'd pay for it. We used the breakfast every day last week and the evening snacks 3 different times. it really worked out well for us :)

each time we have a had a balcony with a view, it's been a ways from the lobby. But, really, the Dolphin is a large resort....it's kind of a walk to everything. Not an awful walk, but it does take a few minutes to get where you need to be, LOL

have a great trip!
