Dolphin experiences at Disney?

I know Epcot offers the Dolphin interaction where dolphins are brought to you in waist deep water, at The Seas with Nemo & Friends. But the age limit is 13+. So, I'm wondering if they offer anything else for younger kids as my daughter is 9. Petting and feeding, maybe? I'm trying to avoid having to spend a day at Sea World, but I will if we have to. Thought I'd ask around first! Thanks.

Not to my knowledge and if the age for Dolphins in Depth is 13 and up, it has been lowered since we did it. We experienced this great program when our kids were 18 and 20--I thought the age then was 16+. While the Dolphins in Depth has an interactive feature, that is not the focus of the program. It is definitely an educational experience and one I highly recommend. This was our daughter's graduation (from high school) gift and in her words--"one of the best experiences" she has had at Disney or elsewhere. I hope you can find a program for your younger daughter, but keep this one in mind when she's a bit older--it truly is a wonderful experience.

Thanks so much. I know she would love it. It seems like we will probably have to take a day to go to Sea World then. I will make it a goal to let her do the Dolphins in Depth someday.
