Dolphin Discovery on 5/8/04 cruise

Just an FYI for anyone looking to book a swim adventure with the dolphins at Chankanaab park during the stop in Cozumel-all packages for all times are booked. They will put you on a waiting list, but it doesn't look good for any openings.

This is not the Dolphin encounter offered by Disney, but rather an excursion booked through Dolphin Discovery directly.

Our family was pretty bummed by this as we didn't expect this excusion to be booked this far in advance. We will probably still go to the park as it sounds like a nice place to spend the day.

We are on the same cruise! I planned to call Dolphin Discovery directly this week and book as well! Boy is my DD going to be disappointed!

There is also a dolphin swim available at Xcaret. We did it about 8 years ago and it was great. The dolphins jumped over our heads and then pushed us through the water. At that time you had to get to the park when it opened and run to the dolphin section to make your reservation for that afternoon. I noticed recently on their website about making advance reservations.. but could not find out how much in advance or what the price is. Check out xcaret.com and you can find out how to get in touch.
