Dolphin Discovery in Cozumel on own...

DH & and I would rather do the dolphin swim than the encounter that is offered as an excursion. Is it hard to get to the park on our own? I was wondering if we could just tag along with the people that are going on the encounter, or is that a no-no?

We did this own our own in October. We simply caught a taxi right at the main street once you leave the dock, and it was $10 for 4 people one way. Very easy and well worht it! We did the Royal Swim and it was worht EVERY penny!
