Dolphin Discovery - Children

Can children (age 9) do the Swim Adventure in Cozumel or can they only do the Encounter?

The swim if for ages 8 & up. We just did the swim and it was awesome. We booked directly with dolphin discovery, Disney doesn't offer the swim.

Children must have an adult in the water also. So mom or dad should plan to swim with the dolphins too.
