Dollar's Up! Just in time for March break!

Firstly, let me say that the soaring dollar is really bad for our manufacturing sector.

Secondly, let me say Yippee for travellers! Just in time for March break.

Exchanged some money yesterday and paid Cdn$996.40 for US$1,000. It's even better today.

I just took my kids to the bank to exchange their March break spending money. They each had $60 CDN and it got them $59.95 US. So being the good mom that I am .....I kicked in the 10 cents to round it up.

Dh wants me to go and exchange at least $1000 for our summer trip. I probably will AFTER I find out how much income tax I have to pay.....that is I have any money left.
