Dollar store or similar near DL ?

Hi, Our flight from Australia arrives around 9am in the morning so I will need to keep the kids awake and busy to avoid jet lag. We will probably familiarize ourselves with Hojo's, DTD etc. I was also thinking we may go to Target to have a look around. I was hoping there were some dollar stores in the area as I would be able to let the kids have a wander and spend a small amount of money- Are there any in the area?

I just looked up on the 99 cent Only Store website and there are 2 locations in Anaheim but not terribly close to DLR. You wouldn't be able to walk there but if you have a car you should be good. Here are the addesses:

There's a dollar store in the same complex that the Character Warehouse is located in.... straight down Harbor Blvd. It's about 5 miles though so you'd need a car or a taxi.

There are a lot of dollar stores around. My DW's favorite is Dollar Tree - there's one on Chapman a couple of miles west of Harbor Blvd (n/w of Brookhurst). There's another in the same center as the Disney Outlet store in Fullerton (north on Harbor Blvd to Orangethorpe, both stores in east end of the center on the s/e corner of Harbor and Orangethorpe). There's also a Chuck E Cheese nearby on the north side of Orangethorpe, which the kids would likely enjoy. There's also a newer Target in the center on the s/w corner of Harbor and Orangethorpe, so this might be a good destination for you.

Our Target stores here in WA state have a big section of dollar items, so hopefully they all do. Someone who is familiar with the Target stores near DLR can let you know for sure.

We always go to the Dollar Store next door to Target. This is located at the corner of Chapman and S. Harbor. This Dollar Store has a lot of Disney themed stationary items. I've had some good finds at this store and brought home many souvenirs!

Target does have a $1.00 and $2.50 spot. It can become pretty well gleaned over though. So hopefully, you can time it just right, if you should decide to visit there, and there will be plenty of product. Target also has a snack bar. The food is tasty, and very well priced. I love their pop corn.
