In Dec. we needed to pick up a rental car @ MCO to use for our day @ Univeral; then drive to Port of Tampa next day for cruise.
Only problem, there is no onsite return for any of the rental cars.
The closest return i could find was Hertz & we'd have to take a shuttle to port; then pay for a cab to the TPA upon our return.
Didn't want to pay $80 to park or the weekly charge for the rental to just have it sit in the port garage either.
We've never rented from Dollar, but signed up for their express checkin program. Decided to give TPA site a call directly. Not only are they $10 cheaper than Hertz (and onsite @ MCO); they offer a free shuttle to the port & back to the airport upon our return.
total cost $27.26 - priceless!
have to ask though, how's Dollar out of MCO
