Hi all , I have a few Questions any help would be greatly appreciated. I have to delete a confirmation that was made on the internet , for whatever reason it is not accepting the cancelation . Wondering why ... Checked numbers and names multiple times still no help ... The next question is with using fastlane at (dollar rent a car ).Does any one have experience in upgrading to a next size car at no charge? Thanks all :wave:

Our last trip I reserved an intermediate car and had a coupon for an upgrade from BJ's. On arrival the clerk asked it we wanted a PT cruiser which was fine with us. After making this offer he found out the PT cruiser wasn't available so he upgraded us again to a premium car(concorde, very nice!) Now the cancel problem I can't help you with, I've never had a problem with the website, I would call them directly.
 
I've had the same problem when trying to cancel a Dollar reservation online. A quick phone call was needed to cancel it. Still, when I was at the counter, they commented on me having 2 reservations. I insisted that one had been canceled and they let it go.

I've gotten complimentary upgrades with Avis without asking. When renting a minivan with Dollar, they offered to "upgrade" me to a Town&Country minivan or a Grand Caravan for $8 per day. I declined and they gave me the Town&Country. I don't consider it an upgrade though, as it was about what I was expecting for a rental minivan.
