Dollar Minivan $249/wk

We have reserved a minivan with DOLLAR (onsite MCO) for May, 2002. I used the KISS code and my base rate is $249/wk. (actual total is $306.29 -waiving all insurance/etc.) Anyone know of a better rate at an onsite MCO car rental agency?

when you say a week how many days is it that you are actually renting? I used the DBL3 code and got the minivan from them for 37.00 a day. this code will give you the discount plus you get triple ftp miles for the airline that you use. when you rent a vehicle you get frequent traveleler miles as well but I am now getting a better discount with the DBL3 code as well as triple ftp miles for my rental! can't pass that up! I'm not sure when the code is into effect until but if you keep checking you might get the rate lower than what you got it for. are you a member of national EA? you might want to try that too.

That is a fairly good rate. It wouldn't hurt to keep checking rates up until your trip as you may be able to do better. If so just cancel this one and re-reserve. I didn't get any better rates than you did for dates in May, but for November, the FVG code gives a much better rate for minivans. See... http://www.travelcouponsonline.com/best.html . L & M car rental (onsite) also has low minivan rates, but have heard mixed reviews on them.

I used the FVG code with Dollar for the end of November it was $29 a day for the week, and I think $39 for the eighth day

I too used FVG and got a minivan for $209 for a week. We need it 8 days so our extra day is $39.99
