Dollar - MCO - 12 passenger van?

When we went to Disney a couple years ago, we had reserved 2 small cars for 8 people. The cost was much cheaper (even with gas and parking) than a van large enough to hold all 8 of us. When we arrived, we were offerend a 12 passanger van for less than the 2 cars together. They didn't offer the van online. We checked again and online and over the phone they don't appear to have the 12 passanger vans. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I am not sure about MCO, but a couple of thoughts.

1. Some franchies are locally owned and may have vehicles the "corporate" folks don't show in the computers. If you call the local office directly you might get lucky.
2. Also, someone could have returned one of the vehicles form #1 to MCO giving them one to rent
3. The "mix" of vehicles has changed in two years so they don't carry now what they did then.

I realize none of that really helps, but... it could explain what you are seeing.

Just checked online at Dollar for the 12 passenger because that is one of the options we could use, right now we have a minivan and a midsize. When I put our Corporate code in it didn't come up, but when I didn't put a code in the 12 passenger was available, $899 per week.
