Dollar introduces Rapid Rental Early Check In

I got an e-mail from Dollar today about Rapid Rental Early Check In:
"Eliminating time spent at the counter is easier than ever with our new early check in service. Simply provide your details online before you pick up your car. Then all you'll have to do is grab your keys and go."
You go to their website and provide driver information and DL #, but the details about how this will work seem to be sketchy.
Does anyone have more details on this? Will there be a separate line if you've done this, or are you basically just completing some of the paperwork ahead of time?
It is apparently different than Dollar Express (?).

I just made a March ressie yesterday and put my info in. I hope it's as good as FastLane used to be, hope someone can provide their personal experience here.
