My DS's (6 & 10) do not have a large video game system (do have Leapster, My 1st LeapPad, Plug & Plays) so I'm considering a wii. However, now my uber cheapness is shining through since seeing the DG BF sale flyer. On page 1, top left is "The Zone" for $39. Anyone have a review of this game system? Now, I know this is miles away from a wii, but is it something my DS's might enjoy for awhile or will this be super lame. Ok, the more I write to justify my cheapness, the more I'm talking myself out of it. I'm afraid I'll end up tossed into a snowbank Christmas morning!:rotfl2:

I have not honestly heard of the Zone and I know $39 is much cheaper than $250, but I have always believed you get what you pay for. I would definitely take that $39 and put it towards a Wii. My family has had one for a year and it still gets played everyday! The entire family loves it, even the grandparents come over and play. We have a Playstation, XBox and the Wii, and the Wii, in my opinion, outplays them all!

Good luck with whatever you decide.:goodvibes

i too was looking at the zone. but i found something better online. its called miwi, no its not in the wii family, but it is a great knock off and mine came with 164 games! i would recomend it over the zone. it was 129 with all the games, but 99 with only 64 games. includes tennis racket, console, two sticks, and a couple other things.
