Dollar Express?

Just wondering if anyone had any experience with Dollar's "Dollar Express" program? Does it really save you time at the desk? Thanks

Yes. It did for us. There were about 5 people in the regular line and no one in the express line. We were taken at the next available rep. Also, all your paperwork is ready and they dont try to "up-sell" the insurance to you. It might have been my imagination but it seemed that the CSR that was helping us was moving very quickly

We got some nasty glares from the customer's on the regulsr line. It didn't bother me though. I was in my car in 5 minute's.

We used Dollar Express for our last trip in May. I don't think it was very "express" I waited and got the luggage with one son, and DH went to get the car with another. I waited for 30 minutes before he came back to help me. And then we had to check in with another desk in the parking garage. They make it sound like you will have your car in 5 minutes which is not the case. We've had a car faster taking a shuttle to Thrifty offsite. However, Dollar gave us a brand new leather seated Chrysler Pacifica with 10 miles on it. That was nice.

That sounds really out of character for Dollar Express. Any chance he didn't realize there was a special Line for Dollar Express and that he waited in the standard line?

I last used Dollar Express in Orlando on June 30th. There was no one else in the express line but all of the reps were busy, so I probably waited for two or three minutes for a rep and had my paperwork in hand heading to the garage in another two or three minutes. I had no wait at the booth for the keys. So I was probably in the car about 10 minutes after getting to the Dollar line in the airport.
