Dollar.com for rental cars?

Has anyone used this? We are in the process of looking at car rental places now, and the cheapest would be nice as long as it is convenient.

We have rented cars from Dollar several times before and have never had any problems. I have never rented from the Orlando area if that is where you are looking.

I've used dollar. They are pretty much the same as the rest as far as i'm concerned. I think I am actually using them again at the Dolphin in July.

If you haven't already you may want to go to the Transportation Board and post a question. I've gotten some great info on rental cars over the years.

We always rent from Dollar - seem to get the best weekly rates and we like the convenience at MCO. Their parking area is just across the walkway from the rental counter.

We were happy w/their rates-used code from mousesavers.com and got a minivan for about $270/week(early Nov.). We did rent off-airport(returned to Tampa airport), which makes a big difference-we were using ME to ASMo, but after 2 nts. went to timeshare w/in-laws. We saved airport fees and 2 days while using Disney transp. They have a location at Regal Sun Resort in DTD area. Not sure if you're staying on-site, but if so, this could help you on cost - you could take a bus to DTD and walk across the street(not too far - you'd have to ask) or take a cab. Also, sign-up for their free membership program, which allows you to pick up the car w/o filling out all the paperwork - you reserve on-line, and you're done. You can play around on-line w/locations to rent from/return to to see what your saving would be.

Go sign up for Dollar Express. You give them all your credit card and license info in advance and you get your own line at the initial airport check in. Saves some time. We always use it.
