Dollar Car Rental Mco Anyone????

Does anyone have any experience with Doallar car rental at MCO. I have reservations for Dec 11th-18th (WDW followed by DCL). They seem to be the cheapest although I don't know how good they are. Thanks....

I used them and had no problem. If you have Fastlane, you can avoid waiting in line, but in my experience the line has not been long at all.

No problem. We bounce between them and National depending on price. Go for it.

We are from England and use Dollar every time at MCO - no problems at all.

The only problem I have ever had with Dollar is their policy regarding credit card holds.

When you rent from Dollar, they put a $250 hold on your credit card, no matter how long your rental is. Even if you are only renting for one day, for $30 or $40, they put a hold on $250 on your card. My guess is that this covers thier own insurance deductable in case you steal or wreck the car.

I have rented from Dollar several times and been pleased with the service and the quality of the cars.

Our last 3 trips down we've had very good luck with Dollar. On our second trip we ended up with a Caravan instead of the longer Grand Caravan. I went back to the counter in the garage, and asked if we could switch to a Grand Caravan and there was no problem at all.

Everytime we've rented from them the vehicles have been clean, well maintained, and low mileage. The van on our last trip had less than 2,000 miles on it.
