Dole Whip refers to the pineapple ice cream.

You can get it straight up, with a twist, and in pineapple juice.

The Dole Whip is just the pineapple ice cream, while the Dole Whip Float is the pineapple ice cream on top of pineapple juice

this is the pineapple float...it has the dole whip on top with pineapple juice underneath. i loved the dole whip part. the pineapple juice just wasn't that ripe.

i think the float with the pineapple juice, tends to be the favorite. its quite sweet and very pineappley so it really depends on your tastes. the plain dole whip tastes just like a pineapple flavored soft serve ice cream. i tried float for the first time in april and i thought it was yummy! i say go all out and try the float!

Dole Whip refers to the type of soft serve frozen dessert. It is not actually ice cream, Incredibly, it's dairy free. It comes in several flavors, but they only have Pineapple, Orange, and Vanilla at WDW.

On the boards here, 'Dole Whip' means the Pineapple soft serve.
A Dole Whip Swirl is Pineapple and Vanilla.
A Dole Whip Float is the Pineapple Dole Whip with Pineapple Juice.

I prefer the Swirl myself.
