dole whip

I am constantly seeing great reviews about Dole Whips! Is everyone just getting the pineapple ice cream or are the floats better?

Based on what I've read on these boards, I'm trying the dole whip float for the first time next week! It sounds so good and I've never had dole whip before and now with it on the snack plan it seems like a good time to try it.

Of course, the only problem is that I'll probably like it so much that I'll have to get one every time I go to DL-and as an AP holder, that's alot! Even though I've been to DL at least 100 times, I've never had a DW yet.

DH & I like the floats the best!!! I love pineapple juice, DD likes just the Dole Whip.

I would recommend the pineapple/ vanilla swirl too. I tried my first dole whip last month and I found the pineapple to be too tart, and I am a huge pineapple fan. My mom had the pineapple/ vanilla swirl and I enjoyed that much more. I do not know about the float though. Maybe next time

I was always a Dole Whip purist, but on this last trip, we got the floats. I am a convert! The floats are amaaaaaaaaaazing!

I have them mix half chocolate and half pineapple.... it is too pineapply if it only has pineapple.

I did get the float, and I don't know what the fuss is about.

Oh, and I looooove pineapple. We went to St. Augustine after our last WDW trip, and one of the restaurants had fabulous gelato; I had lemon sorbetto and pineapple gelato. Way better than any soft-serve ice cream.

My husband always goes for the floats. I've never tried one but he LOVES them!

I have discovered that the float is a better deal. I believe it is .50 or less more than the dole whip. The dole whip is just the pineapple flavored soft serve in a cup. The float is the soft serve in pineapple juice and they give you more. Instead of buying two dole whips for my son and I, I pay the extra change to buy one float which we can share. I think it's a better deal.

We are split. I prefer the vanilla and dole whip swirl, but DH likes the float. Also, I learned that in August you need to consume that dole whip VERY fast or you will be wearing it! BRAIN FREEZE...
