I'm sorry if this is the wrong place, but I didn't know where else to put it...

If you're in Chicago, a friend of mine just found a place that has DOLE WHIP!!!!!

In the Block 37 mall in the loop, Dia de los Tamales apparently not only has great food and coffee, but they have that sweet, sweet frozen nectar. Check it out! https://diadelostamales.com/

Are there other places, in Chicago or other cities, to find favorite Disney World snackage?

Also, if there is a better place to post this, let me know, and I'll re-post elsewhere :)

Yes, there are other places that have it. I'm not sure at the moment where all I've seen folks post finding it but it's out there.
Basically it's a powder product sold by Dole and not exclusive to Disney so other places can buy and make it

Plymouth, MA right on the waterfront has it too. I found it by accident on my first day back to work after our 2016 trip. I couldn't believe it!

My hometown park (operated by Cedar Fair) has Dole Whips and Dole Whip floats. I may or may not have an annual pass there almost exclusively for those. Admittedly, I may have a problem.

I will say it takes some of the magic away from getting them at Disney (for example, here at home I might purposefully wait for a huge and unreasonably long line to build up at the booth so I can really recreate the ambiance of Aloha Isle and pretend I'm there). But it has allowed me to expand into the world of Citrus Swirls - which I cannot get here to my knowledge.

it is all over California. But, I SWEAR, it doesn't taste as good...almost, but missing a little magic!

Our local hospital cafeteria has it.
Not very special.
I prefer to just have Dole pineapple juice. Yummy!

Yes its always been available outside Disney Parks and Hawaii but not very popular. It maybe getting more sales because now its all 100% dairy free for those with lactose issues and so it is its also vegan.

Years ago all the flavors, yes there is more than just pineapple, had a small amount of sodium caseinate which is a dairy product. At first they removed it from all the fruit flavors but kept it in the chocolate and vanilla, yea they had those flavors too. Looks like they just dropped those non fruit flavors so now all dairy free.

Dole Whip used to be my only frozen treat I would get at WDW, well that and frozen bananas, but I must have built back up my dairy enzymes and now can eat ice cream. Still going to get Dole whip though.

You can buy the mix on Amazon and make it yourself using an inexpensive soft serve machine (such as the $75 Cuisinat ICE 45, also available on Amazon).

Not sure what you mean. I guess they could put up Dole Whip advertising signs and sell something else with the name not sure why.

It's sponsored by Dole company and they look the same. I didn't try one though.

I agree! It does feel "wrong" to me too, getting them outside of Disney. I did it 1x & have not gone back. I will keep Dole Whips as something special to Disney!
