Dole Whip Floats

Just back from a two-day trip. My trip was great overall, but I was a little disappointed with the Dole Whip Float! Sigh.

The pineapple juice was very watered-down. I was so surprised - I'm used to the ones you get at WDW, and this wasn't nearly as good. It might have just been how they mixed the juice that morning (put too much water in it, maybe?) . . . but be warned. To me, part of what makes it so good is the richness and intense flavor of the pineapple juice. Ah, well, the ice cream part was quite good.

I was disappointed last time I had one too. My juice was WARM!!

Hmmm, I've never had one and was going to try one this trip, but I don't want to waste the money if they aren't making them as wonderful as I have heard!!

mrslamb, I've been to Disneyland hundreds of times and have yet to have a bad Dole Float. Give it a try!

How disappointing! May have been a CM mistake though, because I've never come across that.

I suggest asking for a sample of the Dole Whip first, that way if you like it, then you may order one with confidence. I should have done that, but alas, did not, suffice it to say I made my apologizes to the CM, then asked if I might be able to exchange it for a bottle of water. Which was fine to do, fortunately. I was still kind of embarrassed though.

Okay I have been trying to come up with the differences...so the dole whip is the pineapple icecream and the dole whip float is the ice cream mized with dole pineapple juice???

It is actually soft serve, regarding the Dole Whip. And the float too,plus the pineapple juice.
