Dole Whip at Polynesian as dessert?

anyone have any luck ordering a CS meal at Captain cooks and asking if you could have the Dole Whip as your dessert? I realize they are separate counters now but I was hoping they could just let you show the receipt or write something for you to go get the Dole Whip as a dessert

Can't do that.

You can use a snack credit at Pineapple Lanai, but you can't get a dessert from one place while spending your CS credit at another. Different reimbursement contracts, different P&L.

Darn. Im sure this was an intentional plan and part of the reason they moved the file whip out of captain cooks. Seems like it should be allowed as it would be easy to just mark a receipt or give a voucher to take to the dole whip kiosk

No, not that easy. It is no different than expecting such a voucher from Pecos Bill's to walk to Aloha Isle. Different venues, different DDP contracts.

It should be easy is what I'm saying. And moving the dole whip out of Capt cook's allows them to force people to use a snack credit. Calculated.

Calculated, sure. Evil? Not especially. I can't classify "improved profits on frozen confections" as evil when there is so much actual evil in the world.

I don't think I said evil at all. Well-planned and for the purpose of driving greater income. Sucks for us but certainly not evil.
