Dole Whip AGAIN!!!

Okay, I've never had one and I have seen the recipe posted on here before, but I doubt VERY MUCH that I'd actually go out and buy all the ingredients and make it myself. I'm wondering, even though it wouldn't be THE SAME exact thing, would I be able to pour some pineapple juice in glass and plop a scoop of vanilla soft serve ice cream in it and KIND OF get a taste of it? I won't be down there until Oct '07 but really NEED to know what these taste like. Tell me it's possible!!!!

I've had a few "whips" and yes, I think you'd be close mixing pineapple juice with soft serve. Just don't get it too runny.
