If you are looking for something to do before the boards shutdown tonight, there is a DIY special on about the Disney Magic Dry Dock.
Project Xtreme
Matt Blashaw gets an exclusive look into the world of the popular Disney Cruise Line and sees how they keep the magic alive during their 17-day "dry dock" restoration of the Disney "Magic" ship. From pressure washing and painting the hull of the ship, to jack-hammering and resurfacing the Mickey Mouse Pool, to reinstalling giant propellers, thrusters and stabilizers, Matt unveils the amount of work that goes into keeping the popular vacation destination afloat!
It's been on before (and will be on again) according to the channel's website.
The show isn't dated (nor have I seen it) so I'm curious whether it is the dry dock restoration that occurred before Kevin and John's cruise on the Magic.
No, I don't know why the "Do It Yourself" network has a show about restoring the Disney Magic. If I could do it myself, I wouldn't need Disney.
