Love the plans for your last park day. Let me know what you think of Pinocchio Haus if you get there; we stopped going when they changed the menu and I'm curious about how it is now.

I ate there twice the last time I was there, which was November 2010. I loved their Chicken Parmesan with the Orzo Pasta. I will certainly let you know if they are good this time.

DAY 8, SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18TH​

This is really my last day, as my flight leaves at 8:30am on Sunday. I plan on sleeping in as late as I want, then heading over to check out Carribean Beach Resort, where I hope to stay the next time I vacation at WDW. I will probably eat lunch at their cafeteria to check that out too.

After CBR I will probably head to DTD, though I'm thinking about renting a Mouse boat from the Contemporary too and may do both. I will do any shopping for souvenirs I still need to get at DTD, and, if I didn't get to my first night there, ride up in Characters In Flight after it gets dark. Dinner will be wherever I am at that time. I won't stay too late though, as I will need to get back to POP to pack up sad1 and get to bed. I will have to get up early Sunday morning to make my flight, and want to be rested.

I did it during the day in November 2010, and it was wonderful. I'm hoping one of the two days I'm going to DTD that it won't be too windy for it. It took 3 times of going last trip before it was running due to the wind. I want to go this time after dark to see all the lights

I may just rent it from CBR, depends on time.

Oh, and I just found out that a friend of mine, that I actually met through Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, will also be visiting Animal Kingdom on Tuesday the 14th! I don't know if she and I will meet up, since she and her mom are taking her Dad as a present, since it's the only park he hasn't been to. But we may try to meet up at some point during the day. She lives in Florida and is only coming for the day for that park with her parents while they are visiting her.

Not that I'm excited or anything

We are not probably going to see each other on Tuesday, but she actually has a 2-day pass and is only spending one day there with her parents, so she is going to join me on Sunday and hit MK with me! She probably won't stay as long as me, but it will be nice to hang out with her for at least part of the day

Thanks! I made it just fine! In fact, my plane was 20 minutes early! Of course, it still took over an hour and a half to get to POP via DME.

My room at POP is perfect! I got all my requests. It's lake view, 4th floor, 50s, and I even got something I didn't ask for, which is an end room I probably won't be on again until I get back, but tonight was a chill night after arriving. Tomorrow, Magic Kingdom!

Hello all! I got in last night, safe and sound despite flying through that lovely storm that was over NC and VA. I didn't get home until 9pm last night and spent 2 hours unpacking and reorganizing everything, then crashed in bed. I'm at work today (holiday, what holiday? ) but will try to get my photos starting to load on Photobucket tonight so I can start my TR I am also still trying to think of a title, but have no ideas yet. I will post a link as soon as I start the TR
