Doing the Happy Dance!

Hi there Everyone,

I have to share this news with people who truely understand me

DH just started a new job yesterday and found out it is frowned upon taking vacations from September to June, so our trip that is 18 months away now might be 12 months away--YEA!!

Here's how the conversation went last night:

Me: We can go in June or July/August (me meaning 2008)

DH: Well, we can in June or July of 2009.

My response :
Then I replied, "Nope, we are not going to wait 2 years from this month to go on a vacation. That will be a total of 2 1/2 years with no vacation!

DH: Yeah, I know...we'll see

In my DH-speak...that means I was right and he is just trying to string me along to save himself He loves Disney, but his "plan" is to go every 2 years...we have gone every 18 months

So, for now, I am doing the banana dance I know he will go next year in June/July or July/August because he can't wait 2 1/2 years for another vacation. Woo-Hoo!! At this rate (I told him last night), we may surprise our kids with this trip and not tell them until the day before we leave
