So every trip we try to do something we haven't done before.. People find it hard to believe that there are so many things we haven't done....Looking for opinions on our choices most are non Disney related but still we are a family of 6 myself dh dd14 ds 8 ds 7 ds 5... here is the list we came up with

1 Sea world
2 Disney Quest
3 LEGOLAND/waterpark
4 Kennedy space center

Which would you chose???

We like Seaworld as an alternative. Is Aquatica included with Seaworld?

Thinking about adding Legoland for our fall trip. Never been to DisneyQuest.

Kennedy Space Center - about an hour drive one way. Never liked it as a kid. Would be cool to time it with a launch, but otherwise not much for the kids.

I have only done DQ once and while I loved it, and there are things that the kids would probably enjoy, nevertheless they (the boys in particular) sound a little young to fully appreciate it. I would do Sea World, especially with the new addition of their Antarctica attraction, with trackless ride vehicles. (No Aquatica is not included although you can buy a combo ticket for a day in each).

At those ages i would say legoland for sure. It really is geared for your boys' ages.

Seaworld is my second choice, we love it there.

I THINK you can sign up online but we get the LEGO magazine & it has had FREE kids tix in it every time. They are usually good for 3 months. We actually get 2 magazines for some reason in both girls' names. We have not been but did go to KEnnedy &, while interesting, it is spread out & unless the kids are really into science, not a lot for them. We were w/self proclaimed nerd & anti Disney, BIL, and he & his girls , 5 & 3, were more into it than mine, 8 & 5. Went after our 3 day Disney cruise (then going to WDW) & the running joke was...Daddy went on a cruise w/us now let's do this for daddy!:rotfl:

Sorry, forgot....we did DQ for the first time in February....there when it opened & girls, 10 & 8 enjoyed it HOWEVER there was NO ONE hardly there when we were there at 11 am so we got to do all the "interactive" rides which were enjoyed but I can't imagine standing in a que line for them. Didn't do many video games although there were plenty as we were just checking it out since we had PAPs. They did have a little kids area where they could draw & it looked neat. I'd look at the website & see if you can find all available. WANT to do SW but haven't...

While I haven't been to Legoland yet - my vote out of the other 3 would be SeaWorld. There is a lot there to see and do. Not a ton of rides per say but the shows are spectacular and the new Antarctica ride is supposed to be great. DisneyQuest was great when I went (which was many years ago) but I was also in my preteen years and didn't notice much for smaller kids back then. Kennedy was fairly boring to me when I was about 10 but would like to visit again now that I am an adult and care more about learning than I did back then ;)

I'd vote for Lego Land. Your boys are the perfect age. We've been to Lego Land in San Diego multiple times (had APs when we lived there). The last time we went the kids were 13 (DS) and 11 (DD) and we all still enjoyed the many family oriented rides and shows. Now though, we probably won't go back until grandkids.
