Doing one day to see Harry Potter!

Taking my DD for one day to see all the HP stuff Friday April 10th ( yes I know it will be crazy busy, but only day we can go during our trip) will be getting the 2 park ticket and have been doing some research already. Last time we were at US was back in 2005 and only did the little kid area for a few hours.


Know we will have to store our bags, etc in lockers for some rides, my question is how safe is it to ride the more intense HP rides with prescription glasses? I usually take mine off on roller coasters at WDW and put in my bag since I have it with me on those rides. I do need them to see while walking onto the rides, should I get a safety strap in case they come off?

Appreciate any insight or tips for our trip!

My DH and DS both wear prescription glasses and had no problems on the roller coasters we did (Rip Rocket, and Dragon Challenge).

If you are worried a 'croakie' would be a good idea for keeping your glasses from being lost, and they don't cost that much.
