We have never been! We are big coaster fans, and thrill rides. We have both been to Universal in CA, but that was back in the 80's.

We have a 5 day trip, and we will be staying at WDW property, you know a combo trip... It will be late August.. (I know hot, but thats the only week that worked...)

Any suggestions, tips, we will have a rental car.
We have BOTH a AAA card and Entertainment book card.

I have two suggestions for a special dinner:

1.) Mythos in IOA. The private line for reservations is 407-224-4534. Request the last seating of the day. Tell 'em its your anniversary and ask for a table outside (if the weather's nice, which it should be.) Then, after dinner, take your time strolling out of the park. if you time it right, you'll have the place almost to yourself.

If you don't want to pay park admission, you can get a "dining pass" from Guest Services. Just tell 'em you have a reservation. This deal restricts you to two hours, which I don't think is enough time for a really relaxing meal at Mythos. But if you're running short of time, you can ask the server to alert Guest Services that you're running late.

2.) Delfino Riviera at Portofino Bay Hotel. This will be expensive, over $100 a person if you have a nice wine, but it is perhaps the most romantic dining venue in Universal Orlando. Ask to have your dessert served outdoors on the terrace overlooking the Piazza.

if you'd like to stay at PBH, you may be able to get an Entertainment Card rate.

Congratulations on your 10th! Have a great time.

thanks for the suggestions.. Mythos sounds neat.

I didnt know about dining pass, that sounds like that would work out. I will pass that on to DH!

Look out... a shameless plug coming...

Don't forget to get kelly's book!

Kelly, or others who have dined at Mythos, what do you think is good here for lunch or dinner? Is it usually very crowded? thanks chrissy

I loved the wrap and the gooey bananna cake. I went with MG & her DH during March at 12:30. We were seated immediately. We went to Bimni Bay at Sea World at around 12:30 and were seated immediately. After we were done with lunch at 1:30, there was a line.
