I have read DangerMouse's (and printed it out to take with us but I think I have it down) tips on perfecting the trifecta. I have a couple of questions. We'll be doing a simple bifecta.
We will watch EP from parade start are (near Jumpin' Jellyfish). Then we will move quickly, with purpose, towards DL after last float. We will get in the DL line with the swiftest looking CM. Then we will evaluate Main St. crowds. If ultra crowded, we will go to Main St. RR station to watch fireworks. If we have 5 minutes and crowds look manageable, we will start heading down Main St.
So there could be 3 results:
1) Decide that it is too crowded and go to Main St. RR station to view.
2) Decide that it may be possible to get to hub or close to it and start walking. May end up viewing from somewhere in the middle though.
3) Decide that it's possible to get to hub or close to it, and actually get there.
What is a better vantage point- the RR station (farther away, but a little higher), or somewhere in the middle of Main St.? I'm just assuming the crowds will be heavy. (We are not doing Fantasmic that night.)
